The adverb is defined as the part of the sentence that complements the verb(1)&(2), the adjective (3), or another adverb (4), being able to affect the whole sentence (5):
(1) "En esta tierra se vive bien" (In this land they live well) (2) "Los que viven allí saben qué bien se vive" (Those who live there know how well they live) (3) "Han sido unas jornadas muy interesantes" (There have been some very interesting days) (4) "Casi siempre comen fuera de casa" (They eat out almost everyday) (5) "No llegaron a tiempo".(They did not arrive on time).
